Halfords has announced its Garage of the Year winner for the best home garage is Jack Robinson. He wins a £5000 cash prize, Halfords Ultimate Garage Bundle, and 10-year membership of Halfords’ Motoring Club.

The award was decided by a team of judges including Halfords technicians, and Halfords Racing with Cataclean British Touring Car Championship drivers Daniel Rowbottom and Gordon Shedden.

Jack Robins has restored a Nissan Figaro and Volkswagen Type 2 in his home workshop. He has also created a social area with bar and seat to relax in with friends. He said: ‘I’m over the moon! I’ve had so many ideas on how I want to develop this garage even further, and now with Halfords help, I’ll be able to do it way quicker than I could have done on my own.’

Gordon Shedden added: ‘That was a really tough call to make, but this one stood out as the in-built bar was an attraction! We could tell how much love had gone into this garage, and what it means to have a spot to socialise with Jack’s loved ones, so we felt that with Halfords fantastic prize, this garage could be kitted out even further.’
